About our campaign

About us

Home is precious, home is where we feel safe; it’s a warm drink and a cosy, familiar bed.

But sometimes you – or the people you love and care for – need a bit of support for home to remain a place of comfort and security.

With the right advice and access to resources and services, independence is possible for thousands of people with additional needs across the UK. The challenge is, there is no central hub pulling those relevant resources together. Until now.

The purpose of the We Are Able campaign is to change the conversation around vulnerability and empower more people to live safe, independent lives at home.

We want to highlight the best, most practical information on everyday adjustments that can enable people to continue enjoying life at home. And we want to signpost to the many brilliant resources, agencies, and services that help people to do just that – like the Priority Services Register.

Do you qualify for the Priority Services Register?

The Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free service, designed to support those who need a little extra help in the event of gas supply or utility interruptions – but most people don’t even know they qualify for it!

Take our quick quiz to see if you could (and should) sign up to the PSR and receive priority care if your utilities are interrupted.
